Children and Youth MinistriesCHILDREN'S MINISTRY CCPC'S Children's Ministry is a dynamic and comprehensive program that teaches chidlren to celebrate the grace of God as they learn about His praiseworthy deeds. The Ministry seeks to guide the children to put their trust in God and prepares them to tell the next generation of God's greatness (Psalm 78).Kid's Worship meets every Sunday morning during the main worship service. Just prior to the sermon, parents escort their children to their age-specific classrooms where they are greated and cared for by carefully trained volunteers. Children's classrooms include the following: Nursery: Birth-12 months; Toddlers: 1-2 Years; Preschool: 2-3 Years & 4-5 Years; and Elementary: K-Grade 2 & Grades 3-5. PLAYGROUP CCPC'S Playgroup is a weekly playdate for moms and their preschoolers; they meet on Tuesday mornings (during the school year) at 10:30 am at local destinations throughout the community. Children and parents enjoy fun and fellowship at this weekly gathering; it is also a great opportunity to invite an unsaved friend and/or neighbor to experience life outside CCPC in a non-threatening context.MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY The Youth Ministry Director at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Molly Murphy, serves the CCPC families and youth, grades 6-12. Wednesday nights are reserved for Middle and High school students; this is a time of worship, teaching, announcements, games and food. In addition, there are Girl and Guy Discipleship Groups meeting throughout the week to help students develop their relationship with Jesus Christ and reach out to others. |
